INSTALLING THE UPDATES

We recommend that all users of Ksplice Uptrack running UEKR5 4.14.35
on OL7 install these updates.

On systems that have "autoinstall = yes" in /etc/uptrack/uptrack.conf,
these updates will be installed automatically and you do not need to
take any action.

Alternatively, you can install these updates by running:

# /usr/sbin/uptrack-upgrade -y

DESCRIPTION

* Filesystem corruption in XFS writeback path.

A race condition in the XFS writeback path can cause some filesystem
pages to not be properly flushed to disk. This can lead to stale data
being stored on disk, and can potentially cause filesystem corruption.

Orabug: 34655509

* Live fix for XFS writeback corruptions.

This update provides a live repair for filesystems potentially corrupted
by a race condition in the XFS writeback path.
