Evolution E-mail question

I have redhat 9 installed as a dual boot with XP and I'm loving it so far. I would like to get the e-mail part to work but all as I can do is send mail and not receive anything. I went through the set up a bunch of times and even called my ISP but all to no avail.

I have the syntax right, I have the paths right, everything is perfect, but when it finishes imaging (and it geniunely looks like its working) the disk is still empt ...

What is the diff between draken or demien or whatever it is called it like mod for linux and redhat. I am buying redhat today I think can't DL 56k so whas the diff. Which one is better I'd like a harder one for leanring make it more challenging.

Running a xlr or xls file in redhat 9

How do I get xlr and xls files to open in redhat 9 I can run the xls off of a disc but not the xlr. Neither of them will open after I saved them to a folder. I get the following message. Nautilus has no installed veiwer capible of displaying filename.

Problems with qt in Slackware 9.0

Hi! I've compiled qt from sources and when I install it I don't have the new styles like Keramik. The procedure is: 1 - Remove the original qt 2- run qt. Slackbuild 3- installpkg qt-3. 1. 2. . . but if I remove the new package and replace with the old one everything goes right, What's wrong? Thanks for Help!.

k i've put linux on an old p100 for use as a cheap webserver. Anyways, i put mandrake 9 on and when it boots it goes to load lilo(bootloader) and it just displays a crap load of the number 40. then crashes the computer.

Micro$oft does have a special relationship with them since they worked together on things like the X-Box, and since people are puting Linux on the X-Box does it not make sense that nVidia would quit supporting Linux? I just finished installing the new updated nvidia drivers for Mandrake 9. 1 and all I have to say is this. . . DAMN! For once in 14 times trying to get these dang things to work, this worked right off the bat.

Get It A Week Early My Butt

RedHat 9. 1, 168 hours to go. . . Oddly enough, about a weeks time to download. . . FTP on RedHat is even worse, why release it if theres no mirrors, this isnt an advantage, its frustration. I got 90 megs in on one disk using FlashGet and it stopped.
