Installing redhat over mandrake

This is a discussion about Installing redhat over mandrake in the Everything Linux category; Can you install redhat 9 over the top of mandrake 9 or do I have to remove mandrake first and if so how do I remove it Thanks

Red Hat can format partitions in it's installer just like Mandrake can and if you have your /home mounted on a seperate partition, you can just format your / and swap partitions around it and have all your settings from Mandrake automatically appear in RH.

Thanks I'm super new to linux and am just trying to find a distro that I like. Thanks for all your input.
