New libxml2 packages are available for Slackware 15.0 and -current to
fix a security issue.
Here are the details from the Slackware 15.0 ChangeLog:

This update fixes a security issue:
[PATCH] regexp: Avoid integer overflow and OOB array access.
Limit size of 2D arrays to XML_MAX_ITEMS (1e9) to avoid overflow of int
indexes.
