unable to set some font size?

ISP connection problems

Hi all! I've managed to configure my modem and I can dial up using KPPP to my ISP. My problem is now when I open Mozilla and type in a URL (it can be anything) I get a screen from my ISP saying that there are problems logging on and I get told that my username and password are invalid.

Gentoo install problem

i was installing gentoo the other day and the install went well up to the point i had to install the boot grub and i had to make the. conf boot on the ex2 boot partition but i kept geting a read-only access when i was trying to write to the partition using nano.

Hello everyone, Still getting use to Linux, One thing thou I cant seem to find the Games or AMUSEMENT. I checked Game Station during installation, But cant find any. In the guide it said click on K button then go to amusement.

Problem getting Fedora DVD ISO image script working

Hi all, I've been looking for a DVD iso of the Fedora Core 1 release. . . I've found a script that is suppose to take the iso images and create a new DVD iso file. . . but that cause me 2 problems.

Compaq 2500/Mandrake 9.2/X Problem - Minor

Mandrake 9.2 hangs

When I boot up mandrake it hangs when checking for new hardware. I have not been able to boot for the first time. On the first boot it stopped while trying to boot. Any ideas on what I should do. .

How can I make Mozilla font look better under MDK9.2?

I've uninstalled Mozilla 1. 4 came with the distro, and installed 1. 5. Now the fonts just look horrible, especially the one on the menu. Any way to fix this issue?.

What distro for dual opterons

I can not find a single offical release of any amd64 dual opteron supported os. the distros i was hoping to get from the info i have now are redhat AS 3 for amd64, suse enterprise server 8, or mandrakes 9.

Hey Guys! Now my system is 100 % LINUX, that is RedHat 9, i'm thinking to update to Fedora Core 1. . . But, is Fedora a good OS?? ;( If i choose upgrade on the Fedora Setup, i will lose my settings? the graphics driver, the ADSL connection, etc.
