Windows 200/fedora core 6 dual boot problems

I recently installed fedora core 6 on a 400gb hard drive on a new partition. I already had windows 2000 installed on a seperate partition. I wanted to be able to pick which os to run. I only get fedora to start up and no choice to run windows.

Dual Boot problem, 2 HDDs 1-XPpro 2-FC5

I need advice with finishing installing FC5. During installation when it goes to reboot, XP loads and I do not get an option. Two HDDs Master-Active-XPpro Slave-FC5 I did choose for GRUB to be in MBR.

Out of the 908 posts in Buy Sell and Trade, only 5 of them are for this year. Doesn't it use up space on the server keeping all these old posts in place? Some of them go back as far as 2000. As this is a free site, and still must cost money to operate, wouldn't it be more prudent to erase the older ones.

dual boot RH9/winxp problem

my primary harddisk has xp installed and on secondary i installed RH9. when i opted for partitions to be made on existing free space i got a message that /boot may not be compatible(something like that) and it is strongly recommended to make a bootable disk.

I went through almost every possible thread related to this topic but I somehow still find myself a bit confused so I am sorry for starting a new thread. 1st. of all I am completely a newbie when you say linux & I am very good with windows & hardware ( as I work for desktop tech.

Dual Boot question

Hi I'm driving myself crazy over installing a dual boot system of XP and Fedora 4. My Computer is currently set up as follows: 1 IDE Hard drive partitioned into 2. 1 for the Windows OS files and another partition for general files (Both NTFS).

Anyone know of any Linux drivers for this tv tuner. They are not on the ATI site, and i could not find them googling. Just wondering if any open source drivers were out there if if ATI will have support for Linux any time soon.

Redhat 9 booting problems

I have loaded and reloaded Redhat 9 on my Gateway Select PC (has 256 RAM and AMD-750 Anthion processor, SONY CD/DVD-RW, and 20Gig hard drive). The CD's I used for installation all passed the media test.

Problem booting Mandrake 2006

Hi, I'm having a problem booting up Mandrake Linux 2006. I'd installed it fine on my old machine, but on my new pc, after the initial installation, it freezes whenever i try to boot up linux (i'm currently having to use Windows XP Media Center Edition which came with my new machine :S ).
