What distro for dual opterons

I can not find a single offical release of any amd64 dual opteron supported os. the distros i was hoping to get from the info i have now are redhat AS 3 for amd64, suse enterprise server 8, or mandrakes 9.

Hey Guys! Now my system is 100 % LINUX, that is RedHat 9, i'm thinking to update to Fedora Core 1. . . But, is Fedora a good OS?? ;( If i choose upgrade on the Fedora Setup, i will lose my settings? the graphics driver, the ADSL connection, etc.

does anyone out there know how to get the griffin imic to work with linux? preferably woody stable? the Griffin iMic is a usb audio device with mic input and headphone output. javascript:emoticon(' 🙂') it works realy well for recording audio and playing music on some other hardware platforms.

Different Boot Loader?

Suppose I try to use a different boot loader when I reinstall Xandros this weekend. Should I install the other boot loader first, before Xandros? How would having the other boot loader change the installation of Xandros?.

I am installing Red Hat 9 (using boot disk) on my Athlon XP 2400 workstation andI get to the point where it asks: What type of media contains the packages to be installed? I choose the Local CDROM option and it reports: No driver found Unable to find any devices of the type needed for this installation typ?.

A noob is having MKD9.2 boot problem, Help!

I've d/led and installed MDK9. 2 today. All installation went without any problems, but then there finally was a problem during the boot process. I haven't done any updates at all, but it seems like there's problem while finding dependency modules or something like that.

Hi, I had a Windows 98 and Linux 9 multiboot environment on my PC having one 20GB HDD. After I reinstall Win98, unable to find Linux on the boot login. Unfortunately I don't have the bootable disk for Linux.

CDRW max speed not reached

cdwriter does not reach max speed any more x40 only writes at x16 its a 2 min difference. To make it write at x40 dma has to be activated because if not it writes at x16. It is activated but does'nt work anymore.
