making my intranet workstation as web server

Hi all! IS it possible for me to make my intranet pc (192. 168. 0. 1) to act as web server for internet access, if possible how can i do it, now i am using linux box as gateway with iptables configured, i think it is possible with iptables, but i dont know how to do it, can any one help me out thanx and regds san.

Hello, Im new to linux, I installed today RedHat 8. 0. I have two hard disks, one 6Gigas and the other 80Gigas, im the only one that will use linux, so I Have installed XP on the 80 gigas hard drive.

Indeed. Now, How do I go about changing a work rating? This thing is surprisingly easy to setup on new kernels. You just need to load the PWC module for the graphics, and the usb audio module for the builtin speaker, and then you need to download a program to put the device to use.

microsoft designed games on linux?

up intill reading this forum, I had not clue linux could play windows games. . . . . that was my only thing that made me want to keep my microsoft software. . . . wow. . . ok. . . . I've managed to get so far as pulling up the cdrom files, when I try to run anything it says nautilaus *sp?* cannot display viewers etc.

bonsoir, comment fait-on pour avoir ds Blackbox, le format de l'heure en 24h sur la barre des taches en bas. PS : j'ai la mdk 9. 1 autre question : j'ai du installer sur mon portable la mdk9. 1 en faisant expert noauto car sinon l'installation se bloquait dès le début (ou presque).

Running an executable in a mounted partition

I am not able to run any executable file in a mounted partition(whether its a script or binary). Can anyone explain why its not possible to run an exe in a mounted partition? Any solution for this problem? Note: I am able to run a script by $ sh script-name when I am giving, I get the following error $.

? Has anyone had any luck with this nForce 2 chipset embeded in the EPoX 8RDA+? I cant get Ethernet/Sound on it. Drivers from nVidia site are dated 11/5/02. Motherboard's factory BIOS release date is 12/31/02.

Hi, the last 2 days you backend XML RSS files had some errors in the XML, and the xml parser will parse them. . . the errors are that sometimes the title tag contains some strange characters, (today's bug is the quotes after <title>Thermaltake Volcano 11 ) Please, be sure not to include such things.

TROUBLE INSTALLING MDK9 / RH8

When I'm booting up the install cd from one of those two distro's, the system hangs directly or reboot by itself. . . Can anyone help me ?? I already played around in the bios, turned off plug&play feature, nothing seems to help.

;( Houston we have a problem. All of a sudden whenever I boot into RH 8. 0 using KDE or GNOME the machine's response time turns to sh*t! I will take 15-30 seconds to respond to any input (including mouse movement).
