A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

- Ubuntu 22.10
- Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Summary:

GnuTLS could be made to expose sensitive information over the network.

Software Description:
- gnutls28: GNU TLS library

Details:

Hubert Kario discovered that GnuTLS had a timing side-channel when handling
certain RSA messages. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to
recover sensitive information.

Update instructions:

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
package versions:

Ubuntu 22.10:
libgnutls30 3.7.7-2ubuntu2.1

Ubuntu 22.04 LTS:
libgnutls30 3.7.3-4ubuntu1.2

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS:
libgnutls30 3.6.13-2ubuntu1.8

In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
