Linux Critic posted a review on Mint 9 Fluxbox Edition

The Fluxbox edition of the ultra-popular Mint Linux OS is hailed as a newer Fluxbuntu type of derivative based on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. So I’ll take it for a spin and see how it runs.

Mint Linux is a very popular Linux distribution originally based on Ubuntu, but now transferring to Debian Squeeze. This Fluxbox edition is based on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS but has many significant changes compared with a regular Ubuntu install with Fluxbox. The first change is the Fluxbox menu itself, as Mint Team has customized the Fluxbox menu and almost every aspect has added features, including a bunch of apps that start when Fluxbox opens, such as Tint2, update-manager, and xfce4-power-manager.
