Mesa 25.3.3 released
Another Mesa update is out: version 25.3.3. This update is a bit on the lighter side due to some developers taking time off for the holidays.
But don't worry, just because it's smaller doesn't mean there aren't things to talk about. The new version includes fixes for various issues reported by users and developers alike. The good news is that the changes cover a wide range of topics, meaning no single change overshadows everything else this time around.
There are contributions from several different people involved here: Ahmed Hesham, Alyssa Rosenzweig, and Dylan Baker, plus others working on specific parts of the codebase. Their efforts have addressed some less critical problems like minor memory leaks while also tackling more complex glitches affecting graphics rendering itself.
Other developers stepped up too: Emma Anholt fixed direct upload functionality for certain operations, and Georg Lehmann sorted out an issue involving subgroup processing within shader code.
Linus Karl focused on build problems outside standard LP64 setups, while Lucas Fryzek modified some buffer swapping functions. Meanwhile, Samuel Pitoiset worked specifically with the RADV driver to support relocated shaders and corrected front face options for specific graphics primitives.
So again, steady progress from Mesa as they keep building upon what's already there. These changes aim mainly towards smoothing things out, boosting performance where needed, and generally improving how everything works together inside the library now. You can grab 25.3.3 directly from their website if you're curious or need it yourself.
