Two security issues have been discovered in the Open VMware Tools, which
may result in a man-in-the-middle attack or authentication bypass.

For the oldstable distribution (bullseye), these problems have been fixed
in version 2:11.2.5-2+deb11u2.

For the stable distribution (bookworm), these problems have been fixed in
version 2:12.2.0-1+deb12u1.

We recommend that you upgrade your open-vm-tools packages.
