A new version of the AM application manager for AppImage is available. AM is an application manager that is inspired by AUR and serves as an AppImage manager, installer, and updater. It currently contains over 1800 AppImage packages and official standalone applications for GNU/Linux, which are derived from tar and zip archives.

Issues with Fedora 40 compilation, AppConfig, AllocatorHooks, CPUID, DebugData, FEXCore, FHU, IR, JIT, LookupCache, OpcodeDispatcher, RCLSE, X87, and Misc. have been addressed in the change log. Eric Engestrom has announced the release of the second release candidate for Mesa 24.1.0. Multiple enhancements to the system's efficiency are detailed in the change log. The following issues have been addressed: the 10bit HEVC VPS general profile compatibility flags, the bit depth and format for 10bit input, and the reduction of 1D array tex coordinates. Updating pick status.json, fixing container rules on release branches and tags, and fixing container rules on release tags are among the other changes.

The second release candidate for Apache NetBeans IDE 22 is now available for testing. Version 6.6.4 of AM is now available. Fedora 40's replacement of "wget" with "wget2" results in additional dependencies introduced by this release. Among the modifications are fixes to the "install.am" module, the addition of "jq" to installation scripts that use api.github.com, and the substitution of "curl" for "wget" in a few modules.
A new nightly build of Darktable 4.7.0 is now available. The nightly build of Darktable gives users the opportunity to test out new features without having to wait for more official releases. While development builds are able to correct faults, the complexity of the code may cause stability issues. Due to the possibility that new versions will alter the database schema, use caution. The glibc version 2.35 or above distributions are compatible with the AppImage installation.
AM 6.6.3.1 has been released. This update includes small improvements to the security of apps and AM, such as the addition of a feature to secure scripts that "delete" AM and the apps it installs. This will add a command to the second line of such scripts to prohibit them from being used by non-privileged users in APP-MANAGER.

Overwatch 2 is now less likely to crash unexpectedly, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition video playback is functioning properly, Total War: Warhammer II video playback does not have clicking audio, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger does not crash upon startup, Sea of Thieves video playback is supported on Steam Deck, Borderlands GOTY Enhanced is playable again, Mars First Logistics can upload to Steam Workshop, and Nvidia setups are playable again. All of these issues have been addressed by the new release candidate.
Versions 1.23.1, 1.22.3, and 1.21.5 of CloudNativePG are now available. To make database fleet management easier, CloudNativePG 1.23 adds image catalogs based on major versions. The new stanza (spec.imageCatalogRef) and resources (ClusterImageCatalog and ImageCatalog) are introduced. You can find catalogs provided by the Community, and there are also third-party and build-your-own choices. Pod disruption budget configuration can be done using the new.spec.enablePDB field.

Zend_call_stack construct, zend_max-execution-timers, fileinfo, FPM, Intl, MySQLnd, Opcache, OpenSSL, PDO SQLite, Phar, PHPDBG, Posix, Session, and Streams have all been updated. These improvements address a variety of issues, including improper execute_data->opline pointers, wrong dnl appended in configure, ASAN false positive underflow, filename and lineno identification, ASAN false positive underflow, fileinfo, FPM, OpenSSL, PDO SQLite, Phar, and streams.
