Gigabit NIC's with Jumbo frame support on Linux?

Just discovered that my new Linksys EG1032 Gigabit PCI Network Adapters DO NOT offer linux support and that Linksys has no plans to support it in the future. Does anyone know of a Gigabit NIC that runs on Linux that supports Jumbo packets? Any help appreciated T.

I have a real problem with my machine, I installed Mandrake 10. 1 and it worked ok, but I wanted to take this off again and install Windows 2000 just to test my hardware for a bench mark on it's performance etc.

Hello, maybe this one is for Wilhelm?? I have tried a few times to install Fedora Core 3 from DVD; here is a summary: 1. The graphic installation method did not work at all well; this is not too surprising since FD3 does not contain the NVidia graphics drivers.

Not long ago, I ran some live cd's. One was Beatrix, and the other DSL. After running these cd's, I get a message when I log in could not look up internet address for box. This will prevent GNOME from operating correctly.

IBM Intellistation running dual 933mhz at only 700 mhz...

I've got an ibm intellistation m pro 6868 31U that is dual processor capable. It originally had a single 700 mhz P3 which I've upgraded to dual P3 933 mhz processors. The dual processors are recognized but only at 700 mhz, not 933.

DSL on Lexar Jumpdrive

Hi all! I am attempting to install DSL on a Lexar Jumpdrive. I have run the live cd, went thru the menu to the point of the shell opening, and it asks the location (example sda ). In Fedora, when the Jumpdrive is mounted, it is sdf1, on this system (I looked in the hardware browser).

I Have Red Hat WS4 and a Leadtek Geforce 6800 GT running on a tyan motherboard with duel opteron250's I have Duel Phillips 19 190s LCD displays. I also have very little hair left. Has anyone got Twinview to work with this combination ??? I have tried all the various xorg setups I could find but something is missing.

Hello: I have installed Sarge, but am having difficulties with the video. The output is pixelated and the only resolution setting available is 640X480. lspci reports that the graphics card is: 0000:00:01.

Do multifunction printers work with GNU/Linux? Cos I'm thinking of getting a Canon PIXMA MP110 All-in-One printer which can print,scan and copy. I have a feeling it won't work with GNU/Linux but i've gotta hope! Anyone?.

Hello people! I have just installed Fedora 4 with a dual boot with windows XP. I have sellected as a defualt os the Fedora Kernel but i don´t know how to switch the defult to winodws and modify the boot menu so that instead of Other it will display Windows XP.

I have a dual boot Fedora Core 4/Windows XP SP2 Dell Dimesion 4400 w/ a Pentium 4 (bought around 2002). My apt has one cable outlet on the other side, and its on the oppsite side of my room, so I set up a wireless network for my laptop.
