computone on 2.6

This is a discussion about computone on 2.6 in the Linux Hardware category; I'm having some trouble with latest 2. 4 kernels and computone intelliport II Ex multiport serial card and I was thinking about 2. 6 kernels but I found no reference about this card. Any clues? Marcelo.

Good question. I did a search on computone intelliport and did not come up with much, except for older kernels. I will assume that tey are either there, or were discontinued by default in base kernels, based on the age of the card and popularity, or lack thereof.

There is one article that you may want to look at the following
how-to which may send you in the right direction.

It seems that the company made drivers for the 2.2 kernel series, so you may try e-mailing them or looking on their web site, if it is still up.

P.S. I found this link that is still up. I see what you mean. Take a look at the linux.txt file.
