Im looking into buying a Tv tuner card for a machine im building to run Mythtv. Im thinking about either the ATI TV Wonder or the Asus TV-FM card. Has anyone had any experience with either card, or could recomend a similar or better 'cheap' tuner card?.

I installed Fedora Core 1, but i can't even compile xChat 2. 0. 7. It sucked. I think i'll install Red Hat 9 again. When do they plan to launch Fedora Core 2?.

RMA replacement drive

I RMA'd my WD200EB and wd sent me back a different drive but it's not a new one and the waranty for the replacement drive is only until 5/4/2004. Is this ok or should they sent me a new drive?.

Mandrake 9.2/KDE 3.1 Takes Hours to Load...Still loading

I have Mandrake 9. 2 on a Compaq 2500 (Beefy: 1GB RAM, 5/4. 3GB drives) and finally got X to start with the standard onboard video card. But it is taking forever to load. The drives have been working for the last hour or so.

Ok, I admit I've been a little hard on Red Hat in the recent past but I have to say that the final release of Fedora Core makes a passing grade. I used to use Red Hat 7. 3 until I found Mandrake was more reliable for a workstation user.

Good mornin pplz. Must say that i have not had many problems with Mandrake 8. 2 until i tried to install it on one of the PC's @ work. I'm not a complete newb but still finding my way around linux. Anyway, prob is.

I've got a dual boot between Windows XP and Mandrake 9. 2. Under Windows, I can use my CD Writer under Windows using Nero 5. 5 without any problem but I just tried using it for the first time with Mandrake and got the error message below.

Webcam causes computer to hang

I've got a Logitec Zoom webcam connected via a USB and am running Mandrake 9. 2. If I plug the webcam in, the whole computer just hangs - everything freezes. When I unplug it, the computer remains frozen and I have to reboot without the webcam.

disk boot failure

I burn the ISO and boot from it and get a disk boot failure. I then create boot floppies and it wont recognize the cd. I can't seem to find out how to create the boot cde correctly. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have Mandrake 9. 0 on my computer and i have no earthly idea how to onfigure LTSP to work with my thin clients. I have 2 Wyse 3360SE Thin clients and they are set up for RDP but from my knowlege LTSP does not support RDP.
