Works just fine. Kernel 2.6.7, Gentoo.

1. Via the controller its configured as raid-1 (2x 73gb scsi hard disks)
2. During the installation 2 (two ) hard drives are being detected. I thought to be able to see 1 single hard drive.
3. My understanding is - it's not true hardware controller

Maybe use software raid-1, breaking it from controller bios?
