Michael Catanzaro has announced the release of the first bugfix update for the GNOME 42 series.

GNOME 42.1 released

GNOME 42.1 is now available. This is a stable bugfix release for GNOME 42. All operating systems shipping GNOME 42 are encouraged to upgrade.

Fedora36

If you want to compile GNOME 42.1, you can use the official BuildStream project snapshot:

The list of updated modules and changes is available here:

The source packages are available here:

GNOME 42.1 is designed to be a boring bugfix update for GNOME 42, so it should be a safe and uneventful upgrade from earlier versions of GNOME 42.

Enjoy,

Michael Catanzaro
