As always, the new major release has some new features. SoundFonts (for FluidSynth) and mtPaint (raster graphics editor) have been added. A few Java-based games (Flappy Bird, Karoshi, Micropolis, and Zuma) as well as a set proprietary web browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Opera) are now available as downloadable extensions. XMMS in 4MLinux is now able to play a huge number of old sound formats (originating from Amiga, Atari, Commodore, ZX Spectrum and the like). On the other hand, you can use the same XMMS to watch modern AVC/HEVC videos.
