Dear God stay away from 2.6.2 if you don't want problems with ALSA and KDE 3.2!

Not just kernel 2.6.2, either, I'm experiencing horrible problems with 2.6.0 on debian and KDE.

Worked fine for more than a week and now after a series of randomly caused (??) artsd problems I can't get any sound out of the system whatsoever, console, fluxbox, kde, anything.

Appears to be related to /dev/dsp but nothing solves the problems.
