Grub not playing nice nice...

Ok, here's the problem. . . Running FC4, latest distro, on my primary master, primary slave is my storage drive, secondary master is my dvd rom, and secondary slave is windows xp. Problem being, grub does not want to play nice with the windows boot.

help with Fedora

Hi all, I'm new to Fedora. I'm using it with windows XP. Now there is a problem with windows. Whenever i try to switch over to windows my machine keeps on restarting automatically. It works with Fedora without any problem.

Fedora Core 4 + Aurora 5500 box = suffering

Big fan of both Alienware and FC4. So I tried to put them together and am having some problems. I can install it fine (in text mode only). But then when it gets to start up it splashes the little loading task bar on the screen.

Fedora Core 4 and nVidia drivers simply not working together.

I have tryed multiple guides on how to get them to work but I have made no progress ( ) and the official nVidia instructions but still nothing. Does anyone have any tips and/or a rebuilt/RPM of the drivers or am I not going to be able to use my GFX card with drivers?.

Mandrake 10.1 & XP

Hey everyone! I had windows xp installed on my secondary hard drive, and then I installed Mandrake 10. 1 on the primary hdd. After playing around with the Mandrake for a while (I am impressed by the way), I tried to get into xp from the boot loader Grub.

hello, how can i configure my linux to share internet. my computer that has an internet has lancards on it. i do not hav a router or any device other than the lancard. im using fedora core 4. in windows it is easy to share internet connection, is it also easy on linux??? maybe someone can point me to some tutorials ...

Help Installing Centos 4.0 on a Hp DL 320 Server having an Sata Raid Controller

I have recently installed a Belkin router on my 2 machines. This is NOT a wireless network! It is hard wired. Internet connection for both computers is great! My question is this, evidently a router will do much more than let 2 computers share an internet connection.
