Fedora 2 boot fails at swap partition

I just loaded Fedora 2 on my PC (Anthlon, AMD 1. 2GHZ, 512MB RAM, 20GB HD, Radeon 64 DDR VIVO Graphics, DVD, CD-RW drives), and the installation went fine. Fedora C2 cdrecord

Hi !! I am trying to do a backup to a Samsung cd R/W. On RH9 cdrecord - dev 0,0,0 etc worked fine. Using cdrecord -scanbus tells me that the Samsung is scsibus0 0,1,0 - but the syntax seems to upset the Fedora cdrecord command and it says it can't find a driver.

Dual Boot XP and Fedora Core 2 (64 bit)

I have a new computer with an Athlon 64 bit CPU. It has come with Windows XP (now SP2). I want to split the hard disk and dual boot with Fedora Core 2 (64 bit version). Has anyone experience of doing this and any comments on what to watch for? Thanks John.

Reformating fat32 to linux partition

I'm sort of new to linux and I have a fat32 partition mounted on my system at the moment. However, I no longer have a need for this partition and I was wondering how I could format and change this partition from fat 32 to a linux partition I can store my data on.

Installing SuSE 9.1 Pro along side XP - Newbie

At the moment I have a 160GB HD and am running XP. I've partitioned (10GB and 150GB) it with Partition Magic 8. 0 and I'm wanting to install Pro 9. 1 onto that partition. I have the dvd-rom and have booted off of it but when it comes to the installation I'm stuck.

I have just installed Fedora C2 and when I run Mozilla there is no newsreader ?? Anyone have any clue how to install the newsreader in Mozilla - all the sites I have been able to find simply assume its there and there doesn't seem to be anything which allows it to be installed.

Removing A Kernel

i just installed fc2 and right away upgraded the kernel to a 2. 6. 9 ck2 and 2. 6. 9 both customized anyhow how would i go about getting rid of the old one, do i just delete the folder in usr/src thanks in advance.

I'm stalling from the boot cd, and yes i follow the instructions and the page that you gave me but I got that problem. I'm moving the partitions like Dapper Dan told me right know. What program do you recommend to me for burn the isos? I don't want to screw more cds again.

hello i am trying for installing gtk. It gives many problem 1>i install glib which did not give me any error my linux version is 7. 2, then i was installing pango which gives me error tht fontconfig not install then i install it after tht also pango is not installing it gives me error checking for pkg-config.

I found this site and am making a book of commands. I highlight just the necessary stuff and paste it to a blank office document. Then I am going to print each one, punch holes in 'em (I have a 3 hole punch) and put them in a binder alphabetically.
