XOrg composite
This is a discussion about XOrg composite in the Everything Linux category; I've been playing around lately, and just got around to enabling X's composite extension. It seems to work beautifully, but I'm having one problem. It seems when I enable the composite extension it breaks OpenGL(such as screensavers, games(crack-attack comes to mind).

I love the new eyecandy... but where will I be without my daily crack-attack fix?

Put this in your Device section of xorg.conf;
Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "1"
Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "1"

OP
A fun idea, but if I remember right, last time I tried that X refused to start until I refused the option. Oh well, I guess I'll just hold out until the situation gets better. For now I'll just have to do without my composite eye candy...
