Untitled thread

This is a discussion about Untitled thread in the Everything Linux category; NT4 server install is being replaced with a suse 9. 1 install. NIC, Soundblaster (ISA 16 bit PNP), ATI video etc all worked fine in NT so I don't *think* there are any resource conflicts. System is pretty vanilla and has a linksys LNEPCI2 card.

Anyhoo, trying to do an FTP install of suse, so I load the network module (module3), select the DEC tulip driver, it loads ok, but suse install can't find network adapter and tells you to load the proper module then punts you back. HELP!!!! (please!).

The only other strange behaviour I have noticed is the BIOS reports both serial controller and network controller on IRQ 11.

any thoughts (at all) might help...

Try choosing the ne2k-pci driver in the selection for your linksys LNEPCI2 card.
