This is a discussion about Untitled thread in the Everything Linux category; Hi again. I finally have a WinXP and SuSE 9. 1 Pro dual boot system. SuSE installed just fine on my SATA drive (though it didn't want to go on the Raptor on the same controller). Anyway, now that I have SuSE installed my Netgear WG311 doesn't want to connect.
Hi again. I finally have a WinXP and SuSE 9.1 Pro dual boot system. SuSE installed just fine on my SATA drive (though it didn't want to go on the Raptor on the same controller). Anyway, now that I have SuSE installed my Netgear WG311 doesn't want to connect. I am sure it is a settings issue as it was detected but won't connect to the internet? Any help would be appreciated....

what are the results of /sbin/ifconfig -a if you don't have an ip assigned to that lancard and you are using dhcp try dhclient if you don't have dhclient installed I recommend installing it.
Your card is reported to work with the madwifi module. I've never used this before but here's there page.
