Unmounting floppy/mounting
This is a discussion about Unmounting floppy/mounting in the Linux Software category; I tried to mount it, and nautalius always has erro,b ut it then puts the icon on my desktop, it reads it, but when i try to get the icon to go away via eject it says: Nautilus was unable to unmount the selected volume.

Try:
umount /mnt/cdrom [enter]
that's umount without an 'n'.
umount /mnt/cdrom [enter]
that's umount without an 'n'.
what distro do you use? if it's Mandrake, the floppy and cdrom are supermounted by kernel, so if you insert the cd/floppy you can directly access them in directory /mnt/cdrom and /mnt/floppy
