Running Programs
This is a discussion about Running Programs in the Linux Software category; This may sound dumb, but when i install summin like realplayer how do i run it coz there is no entry in the mandrake menu like windows puts in the start menu. Thanx guyz.

i suppose you use kde in this desription. as i do not know it so detailed for gnome.
if you want to run the real player just use alt+F2 type 'realplay' and then enter and it will start up
to add it to a menu just rightclick the kicker menu (usualy it has the big K icon ) and choose menu editor. i think the menu editor is quite self explaining
