RHN erased ability to use up2date
This is a discussion about RHN erased ability to use up2date in the Linux Software category; Hello, I recently went to the RHN. org and updated what I thought would be an improvement to my Fedora2. After I did this, my ability to use the up2date (Alert Icon) has since come to a standstill.
Hello,
I recently went to the RHN.org and updated what I thought would be an improvement to my Fedora2. After I did this, my ability to use the up2date (Alert Icon) has since come to a standstill.
How do I reverse the process so that I can use the "oh-so-nice" up2date utility?
Thanks,
ahoyt

If you're being cynical when you say, "oh-so-nice." you may want to consider keeping your box updated with apt-get rpm. I've used both, and even though up2date does a great job keeping you up to date, I've always seemed to run into problems getting it working correctly. Apt-get RPM hasn't failed me yet.
