RH 8.0 Hangs when selecting hdisk during installation!
This is a discussion about RH 8.0 Hangs when selecting hdisk during installation! in the Everything Linux category; When install RH 8. 0, during select partision section, the RH always hang and can't go to next step! Anyone can help me, many thanks. BTW, I use two hdisk : /dev/hda > winxp; /dev/hb1 > win2000; /dev/hdb2 > plan to install RH 8.

BTW, I use two hdisk :
/dev/hda --> winxp;
/dev/hb1 --> win2000;
/dev/hdb2 --> plan to install RH 8.0

Had the same problem.
Boot your RH installation in text mode (type 'text'). It should work fine.
