This is a discussion about "Please insert CD1" etc keeps trying! in the Everything Linux category; When installing certain packages and hardware, Linux keeps asking for a certain CD and then doesn't 'see' it. Its a download of Mandrake 10. 0 from ISO's burned at 4X onto 3xCDR. I am a Linux newbie and don't know what to do? Part of the problem is that my ADSL modem is askin for CD1, and i cnt get online in Linux ...

Its a download of Mandrake 10.0 from ISO's burned at 4X onto 3xCDR.
I am a Linux newbie and don't know what to do? Part of the problem is that my ADSL modem is askin for CD1, and i cnt get online in Linux because of this!
