Phone Forwarding?

This is a discussion about Phone Forwarding? in the Linux Hardware category; alright, in windoze i could get online with my phone being forwarded (i forward my regular phone to cell phone so i can still get calls) anyway, in linux when i forward the phone and get online it just goes, bum bum bum buuuuuuummmmmmmm (thats the noise it makes to tell you its forwarded) , then it cuts off and doe ...

alright, in windoze i could get online with my phone being forwarded (i forward my regular phone to cell phone so i can still get calls) anyway, in linux when i forward the phone and get online it just goes, bum bum bum buuuuuuummmmmmmm (thats the noise it makes to tell you its forwarded) , then it cuts off and does nothing more . does anyone do this or have any suggestions on how to fix it?
