ntl Cable Modem doesn't work with Mandrake
This is a discussion about ntl Cable Modem doesn't work with Mandrake in the Linux Hardware category; My ntl Cable Modem is made by Ambit. Mandrake Recognise it but internet does not come. Knoppix which boot from CD-ROM. Recognise it and i can run the internet from the Knoppix. My cable Modem Attached with USB.
My ntl Cable Modem is made by Ambit. Mandrake Recognise it but internet does not come. Knoppix which boot from CD-ROM. Recognise it and i can run the internet from the Knoppix. My cable Modem Attached with USB. I can Attached it with Ethernet. But I donot know how can I do this. Is some body solve my problem or tell me how can i attached with ethernet.

Well, if you read www.linuxdoc.org
you would know that you type
dhcpcd -h user.name
where user.name is the first part of the first mail address you registered.
