nforce motherboards
This is a discussion about nforce motherboards in the Linux Hardware category; Hi all I want to built a box running SUSE (one of the 8. x variaties) with a nforce2 motherboard (geforce4 gpu btw), but I heard from someone that this board has issues with LINUX. Is this true? nvidia.

nvidia.com have drivers for their m/b's and gpu's including ones for SUSE 8.
Any comments?

don't know about the new nforce boards, but the original one works fine for me. knowing nvidia, they will probably work fine or they'll figure a way to make it work.

i'm running RedHat 8 with an nForce2 mobo and it's working pretty well. i had some trouble getting the sound to work but it's working fine now.
