Mplayer error

This is a discussion about Mplayer error in the Linux Software category; Hello. I have been trying to play a movie, and after a few minutes I get the message Your system is too slow to play this. This would be fine, if I didn't have a 1 ghz! But if I use the -nosound it works fine.

Hello. I have been trying to play a movie, [div3 video, mp3 audio] and after a few minutes I get the message "Your system is too slow to play this". This would be fine, if I didn't have a 1 ghz! But if I use the -nosound it works fine. I would like to know if there is a way of fixing this. If anyone replying to this is goin to mention mpg123; I would like to know how the hell i make mplayer use it!
Thx
