lycoris desktop LX

This is a discussion about lycoris desktop LX in the Everything Linux category; i've just downloaded desktop LX, it's an ISO file , (m quite new with this) after i burn it on a CD would it boot up and install just like your norm Windows OS? can i dual boot , Windows XP and Desktop LX?

Yes, you can dual boot between Windows XP and Lycoris

Assuming you already have a windows installation, you can reduce the "C" partition enough to create an empty space to install Linux. I've never seen the Lycoris install so I don't know if it includes a simple partitioning tool or not. If not, Partition magic 8 works good in Windows to create a space for your Linux.
