Lucent Modem is not working in Linux 9

This is a discussion about Lucent Modem is not working in Linux 9 in the Linux Hardware category; hello everyone. I m a newbie to linux 9. I have succeeded installing my soundmax 4xl in Linux. Thanks to Dapper Dan. But i have got in an other shit. My lucent Lt Modem is not working in linux. neither it is visible in hardware browser.

But i have got in an other shit.My lucent Lt Modem is not working in linux.neither it is visible in hardware browser.but its entry is visible in hwconf. Looking forward for your help.

What distro are you using? RedHat, Suse, Mandrake...?
