Linux Newbie requests network printing help

I recently installed Mandrake 9 on a machine and am trying to set up an IP network printer for it. The Mandrake Control Center and PrinterDrake allowed me to setup the printer, but when I attempted to print a test page, I'm getting an error.
This is my first post to this forum. I recently installed Mandrake 9 on a machine and am trying to set up an IP network printer for it. The Mandrake Control Center and PrinterDrake allowed me to setup the printer, but when I attempted to print a test page, I'm getting an error. I tried to reinstall using a different driver (there were 4 or 5 for my printer). I now have 4 temp printers installed that are all offline. The system shows my HP Laserjet 5si as being online, but I can't print to it from my Linux machine. My networked Windows machines see it and print normally through an LPR Port. Oh yeah, the printer is connected to the network through an AXIS 540+ print server.
