Internet through Fibre-optic in Mandrake?
This is a discussion about Internet through Fibre-optic in Mandrake? in the Linux Networking category; Hi: I am a total newbie with Linux. Have installed Mandrake 9. 1 on a Dell Dimension 82K laptop - and, best of all, I have a Fast Ethernet connection in the plug at the wall in my house (by way of fibre-optic cable!).
Hi:
I am a total newbie with Linux. Have installed Mandrake 9.1 on a Dell Dimension 82K laptop - and, best of all, I have a Fast Ethernet connection in the plug at the wall in my house (by way of fibre-optic cable!). 10 mbit symmetrical.
BUT, I just can't seem to get connected to the Internet ;(
I have tried the wizard in Mandrake Control-centre. It finds my 10/100 network card (says "up").
Can anyone help, please?
Best,
pprms
