integrated sound in FC2

This is a discussion about integrated sound in FC2 in the Everything Linux category; Im using a VIA integrated sound chip now and i dun get any sound although the chip is recognized. I nvr faced this problem before with previous versions of red hat like 8 and 9. Any suggestions if the problem lies with the OS or the chip?.
