I need a DVD Player "software" !!!!!!

This is a discussion about I need a DVD Player "software" !!!!!! in the Linux Software category; Where I can find one? I have Mandrake 9. 1 and I see the other post asking a similar question but dont help in any way to me. Which one is the easiest to install?.

Hardware DVD player or Software? I have a pioneer hardware DVD player in and I use Mplayer for the software.

I heard it's a pain to watch DVD's in Linux. I have a DVD-ROM and I can get the first 30 seconds of a movie and it stops.

Install xine it works perfectly and has for along time....

make sure you have dma activated for your dvd player
