Hey all, i'm a newbie to linux, but i have to know how to use it for TAFE.

I'm running Win XP and Trying to Run "Red Hat Linux 7.2" I have got it working b4, but i couldn't boot to XP, until i removed Red Hat. Now, i can't boot to any OS, I keep getting the message "Error Loading Operating System" All I can do is install Red Hat 7.2, but after that i still the the same error, or i can us the XP CD to Format and Partition My Hard Disks.

I'm Trying to put XP on a 40GB Primary Master, and Red Hat on an 8GB Primary Slave. I have a feeling that GRUB is somehow Currupt on my system and i would like to know how to get rid of it off the MBR and then reinstall Red Hat and customize GRUB to Boot to Windows as well.

Any Theories, Post here or E-mail Me at morecheese4me@hotmail.com

Any Help would Be Greatly Appreciated

To fix your Windows instalation you need to boot from install CD or set of rescue disks and run fixmbr.

to get to the fixboot/fixmbr utilities, you must select "Recovery Console"
after booting the XP install CD.
