heatsink/fan compatibility

This is a discussion about heatsink/fan compatibility in the Linux Hardware category; Alright, I'm thinking about buying that heatsink and using my Vantec Tornado as the fan. Will they be compatible? The other version comes with a 80 mm sq. x 25. 4 mm fan. Here's a link to it: I'm just concerned that my Vantec Tornado won't fit with the heatsink.

Gee guy they're both 80mm. One is 1/4 thick and the other 3/8. Worst case you gotta source longer screws or just use the fan that comes with it. either way it's no heart attack.
