This is a discussion about Firewall in the Everything Linux category; Is there software firewall like Zonelabs, available for Linux or Do I have to manually configure it on Linux. I used the mandrake control center to set up the firewall but all my tests failed on grc.

OP
I think smoothwall is use to make your PC, a firewall. What I want is a firewall within my Linux OS.

Code:
The intention was to create a firewall operating system distribution based on Linux, enabling a low-end, possibly otherwise redundant, Intel and compatible PC to become a hardened Internet firewall.

Thanks anyways

EDIT
I think I found what I was looking for.
It's called Firestarter and it seems to be good so far.

Oh. I see. What distro are you using? Most have a built in firewall that is very easy to configure..

If you look in Configure/Mandrake Control Center/Security, you should see an icon for "Firewall."
