This is a discussion about finally but what now? in the Everything Linux category; i got linux installed i had to update the graphics card driver. . which wasn't that hard. . i just need some help with gaim. . i wanna use my msn account. . but when i connect it says protocol not supported.

Update your GAIM version. Microsoft updated the protocol in October and older versions of GAIM will not be allowed to connect to the network.
You can allso use MSN Clone for linux aMSN. It looks just like MSN. You can find it here: http://amsn.sourceforge.net/
