Fedora VS USB ADSL modem

This is a discussion about Fedora VS USB ADSL modem in the Linux Networking category; Hi everyone, I have install Fedora core 3 before chistmas and eveything looks good so far; except the internet connection! I have been looking all over the net before christams and now today (4pm!, been at it all day) and except people having similar issues, I can't find any solution out there.

Hi everyone,
 
I have install Fedora core 3 before chistmas and eveything looks good so far; except the internet connection!
 
I have been looking all over the net before christams and now today (4pm!, been at it all day) and except people having similar issues, I can't find any solution out there.
 
My PC connect to the net using a Webstar 100 on USB connection.
I also have a network card connected to a hub (I share the net connection from my pc in winXP)
 
---->USB Modem--->My PC--->HUB--->2 PCs

(no usb modem??)

Looks like Linux knowes that there's something connected to the usb and that it's an ethernet device..
 
How do I explain to Fedora that it's an ADSL modem?
