ethernet detected or not??
This is a discussion about ethernet detected or not?? in the Linux Networking category; When i boot mandrake 9. 1 it kinda hang for a minute on; bringing up interface eth0(zero) then it kinda detect my ip card 3-4 times before giving the value 9 to my card and continue booting. . . do anyone have any ideas about that??? Thanks!.

This should be normal, as it gets assigned an address. So you do have broadband?
