Connecting to the internet
This is a discussion about Connecting to the internet in the Everything Linux category; I am new with using Linux. I just installed Mandrake 10 with VMware and when I try to use Konqueror there is no IP address and there is no connection. What do I need to do to get a connection? Windows XP is running in the background and the connection is open for shared connections.

I know nothing about VMware, but what make and model of NIC are you using - through a router I assume?
