Connecting to Internet using Mandrake
This is a discussion about Connecting to Internet using Mandrake in the Everything Linux category; I have not yet installed Mandrake Linux 9. 1 but was wondering whether you can (easily) connect to the internet from mandrake. Does this involve installing TCP/IP protocols? And whats all this stuff about PPP scripts?? I have a WinModem which Lycoris detected so Im assuming Mandrake will as well?.

If Lycoris found it and it worked, it *should* work under Mdk too. When you install Mdk, make sure you install KPPP. Once you have it configured, you should be able to get on the Internet without much trouble.
OP
cool, I'll do that. Thanks
