CD burning software

This is a discussion about CD burning software in the Linux Software category; I am a frustrated XP user (now that's a redundancy) looking into switching to Linux. I do a lot of CD and VCD burning, and currently use Feurio and Nero. Can I continue to use my current versions under Linux, and if not, do these or other similar programs have versions specifically for Linux? Thanks.

Hi! Welcome to this Wonderfull world
Take a look at www.k3b.org
It's one of the best linux cdrecorders (Interface only, because you need cdrtools).
Check the page and take a look at the requirements and check if you have them... and them... let's burning....
(This one needs KDE 3.X.X)

I always liked Eroaster when I was using Mdk 9. Simple to use interface with drag and drop. I been having problems trying to get it running with RH 9 though.

Others you may want to look at..

Gnome toaster
Xcdroast

By the way Kanniball, I tried K3b about a year ago. It looks like they've really been working on it! The interface looks cleaner and more understandable. I downloaded it via apt. To run it as user, it says I need to run k3b setup. That's the same as configure k3b right? What do you do to set it for regular user? Thanks!
