Can't play UT online
This is a discussion about Can't play UT online in the Linux Games category; I've just installed UT (not 2003) on my RedHat 8. 0. The game works fine in singleplayer, but I can't get online! WHILE I'm typing the serveraddress (while typing, so I can't even TRY to connect) or WHILE downloading a list of servers the game freezes and I have to reset my computer.

how are you installing it????
using the loki installer or winex?
I just installed using the loki installer and had no problem getting online to play.

I've installed GOYE edition with the Loki-installer. Allready tried to uninstall the game (with the loki uninstaller) and then reinstall it, but that didn't help

And btw, is it normal that I only get sound using GNOME and not in KDE ;( (the game doesn't even show up in the menu when using KDE)

Allready solved the soundproblem! (dunno why but now it works :x ). But it still freezes when trying to go online ;(
